Afterglo Pilates Terms & Conditions
Studio Etiquette.
For the comfort and enjoyment of all members, the studio is a no phone zone during classes. Please ensure your phone is set to silent and left with your belongings. If you do need to have your phone on you for an important reason just let the instructor know prior to class.
Grip socks are required to participate in all reformer classes for hygiene reasons. We stock them at the studio if you need to purchase some.
Cancellation Policy
Things happen, we get it! Our cancellation policy is as follows…
EARLY CANCEL - If you can no longer make your class, please cancel your booking at least 4 hours before the class start time through the Momence App. In this case, you won't forfeit a class credit or pay a cancellation fee.
LATE CANCEL - Something pop up last minute? If you cancel within 4 hours of the class start time you will forfeit your class credit and/or be charged a cancellation fee of $10 if you hold an OG Glo Membership, Unlimited or Intro Offer membership with Afterglo Pilates.
NO SHOW - Nobody likes a no show! If you don't cancel your class through Momence prior to the start time and you do not attend, you will forfeit your class credit and/or be charged a cancellation fee of $15
Unfortunately we do not accept cancellations made by email, phone, text or social media.
Are you booked in for a Private Session and need to cancel? Make sure you cancel your session at least 12 hours prior as we have a strict 12 hour cancellation policy for all Private sessions. If you fail to cancel within this time, you will lose your session and unfortunately the full amount will be deducted from your account or pack.
All cancellation charges will be charged automatically through Momence.
Afterglo Pilates may cancel a class at any time and for any reason. You will be credited for any classes in this circumstance.
We require a minimum of 3 people to run a class. If there is less than, up to 2 hours prior to class starting, the class will be cancelled unfortunately. You will be contacted via phone or email. You will be refunded for your session and will not be charged.
Afterglo Pilates reserves the right to cancel any membership at any time for any reason. All monies owed via membership pre-payments will be returned in the event of this.
Waitlist.
When a class is full you can add yourself to the waitlist and once a spot becomes available you will receive a notification/email that you have been added into that class.
You are committing to attend that class if you add yourself, therefore it is your responsibility to check if you have been added, particularly if this occurs overnight for the next day's classes.
You can remove yourself from the waitlist before you go to bed if you are unsure whether you now want to attend.
This will avoid a late cancellation or no show fee and free up the space for someone else as any booking from the waitlist is subject to our Late Cancellation/ No Show Policy.
Suspending your membership.
To suspend your membership Afterglo requires at least 7 days notice prior to the suspension start date. There is a maximum of 2 suspensions over the calendar year and each suspension can only be for a maximum of 28 days. Suspensions that run over 28 days will be charged at an additional $15 per week.
For suspensions due to a medical reason that require a longer period of time, please provide us with a medical certificate to hello@afterglopilates.com
Cancelling your membership
To cancel your membership please provide it in writing at least 14 days prior to your next membership auto payment to hello@afterglopilates.com
Membership Perks
One “life happens“ pass on late cancellation. All paying members can have their class credit returned on their ‘first’ late cancel each month (cancellations within 4 hours class start time). This can only be manually done, please email hello@afterglopilates so that we can pop the class credit back on to your account

Bring a NEW friend for free each month, please email hello@afterglopilates.com with your ‘new’ friends details (full name, email phone number) so we can set them up in Momence correctly before they attend the class. This ensures they have signed the waiver and also doesn’t disrupt the beginning of a class if you turn up with them on the spot. We suggest giving at least 48 hours notice for this to be actioned.
On weekly memberships only your classes will roll over if unused to next usage limit interval, you will be able to use unused credits in your usage limit interval (7 days). If they remain unused in the interval, they will not continue rolling over and will expire.
Additional classes outside of your weekly allowance, can be purchased at a reduced rate through checkout
Late Arrivals
To minimise any interruptions to the class and to your instructor we ask that you arrive at class on time. All classes will start and finish on time and if you are more than 5 minutes late, you may unfortunately be refused entry. This will also mean your class could be forfeited or you are charged the $15 no show fee as per our terms and conditions*
To avoid this make sure you arrive 5 minutes prior to class.
Bookings
You must book in prior to attending your class and can only be made through Momence
Bookings can be made 28 days in advance
Is the class full? Add yourself to the waitlist so you can be next in line to secure your spot
Only the person booking the session can attend the class. If someone other than the person booked in arrives to use the session, they will be turned away or asked to purchase their own session.
Introductory offers will activate from the moment you book your first class. You can only attend one class per day on the Introductory Offer.
All class packs will activate from the date of purchase
Afterglo Pilates may change or substitute any instructor at any time without providing notice to clients.
Memberships & Class Packs
To attend a class you must have an active membership or class pack and payments will always be made at the time of booking through our Momence booking system.
Intro Offers are available to ‘New’ clients only and can be purchased one time only. Intro offers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Class packs are activated from the date of your first class booked and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All purchases are final and Afterglo Pilates does not offer refunds for accidental purchases.
Age Limits
Age Limits.
If the client is under 18 they must attend with a parent or guardian unless written consent and signature from the minor's parent or legal guardian stating they can attend without an adult has been received by Smoothline WA Pty Ltd (Afterglo Pilates). The parent/ legal guardian assumes legal responsibility for performance of the minor's obligations and is aware that the pilates studio is an adult environment whereby some discussions may not be suitable for minors, under this Agreement.
Injuries
All of our instructors are qualified Pilates Instructors who are trained to modify exercises as needed, but they are not qualified to make medical assessments or provide medical care, so if you do have a preexisting injury, please email through a medical clearance from your health care provider before attending a class.
If you are managing an injury please let your instructor know prior to starting your class. We welcome you to attend group classes at Afterglo, but please keep in mind that group classes are not always the best place for managing an injury and we do recommend you attend a Private 1:1 reformer session or our Afterglo Align class, so that you can receive the care and attention we believe you need.
We are happy to discuss the options with you so we can find a solution that suits your needs.
Pregnant Clients
We welcome pregnant clients to the studio as pilates is a fantastic addition to a healthy pregnancy.
If you are under 13 weeks you can attend all classes. If you are over 13 weeks pregnant, you are only permitted to book into the Afterglo Align Reformer class or Private sessions.
Please inform us as soon as you are aware that you are pregnant so that we can advise you accordingly.
If you are a new member and are pregnant, we ask that you please contact us first prior to booking into any classes.
Please also provide us with a clearance from your Doctor/ OB or Physio, stating that you are medically fit to participate in an open group Pilates class as your Health & Safety are our priority.
Classes
A maximum of 11 clients can attend a group class
All classes run for a total of 50 minutes
Children are not permitted at the studio during classes.

Purchases
All purchases are final and are non-refundable and non-transferable between individuals. No refunds will be provided.
Please don't ask us for an extension on your specified expiry for class packs as they will politely not be given.
As per your contract agreement, all memberships will be deducted as per the auto payment schedule
Our introductory Offers are valid for one time only to new clients
All payments must be finalised prior to booking via Momence
Payment Terms and Credit Card Processing Fees
Payment Terms:
All payments for services provided by Afterglo Pilates are due at the time of booking or as otherwise specified in your service agreement. We accept payment via credit cards or debit cards
Credit Card Processing Fees:
A processing fee of 2.7% + 30c will be applied to all payments made via credit card. This fee covers the costs associated with processing credit card transactions. The fee will be automatically added to your total payment amount at checkout.
Alternative Payment Methods:
To avoid credit card processing fees, clients may opt to pay via Direct Debit/ ACH payments. Please contact us for more information on this option or simply select it at checkout instead of credit card.
Conditions
There is a minimum sign up period of 8 weeks on all memberships. Thereafter 14 days written notice via email is required to cancel your membership. Your membership will be cancelled 14 days from your request date. All payments scheduled during this processing time will continue to be deducted and you may continue using the membership until that payment expires.
If you cancel your membership prior to the 8 week minimum sign up there will be a $50 fee to cover third party and admin costs.

Amendments.
Any changes to membership terms and pricing will be clearly communicated via email from Afterglo Pilates. Please ensure your email contact information is current. By signing up for this membership, you acknowledge that these occasional changes are part of this agreement
Photography / Videography
From time to time classes offered by Afterglo Pilates may be photographed or filmed during class for the purpose of promotion of services on social media or our website. Please make us aware of any grounds, religious or otherwise that would prevent you from being able to or wish to be included in such content creation so that we can ensure that it is respected.
Acceptance of Terms:
By making a payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms, including the application of credit card processing fees.
Personal Agreement
I agree that Afterglo Pilates is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I attend class. I understand that classes may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Afterglo Pilates or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. Afterglo Pilates does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property. If you do become the victim of a theft, immediately report it to a Afterglo Pilates staff member.
